What is one positive thing in your life right now?
The most positive thing in my life right now is the fact that I’m surrounded by so many people that love and care about me and that actually support me. Coming to TAMS, people genuinely care about you and everyone is kinda helping everyone. No one really cares about ranks and stuff like they did in highschool, so everyone is a lot more helpful. I feel like the connections I’ve made here are so much stronger and more meaningful that the ones I’ve made in high school. Also, I am currently making mac & cheese because I’m very stressed, so I guess I’m happy about that.”
What is your greatest struggle?
“Time management?? I don’t know!”
What is something that you enjoy doing?
“I enjoy sleeping because it’s the time when all the excess fluid in your brain gets drained out so that after you wake up you can think clearly-- wait I was just kidding don’t say that!”
What is an instance in your life that has shaped you into who you are today?
“I think quitting gymnastics was a pretty big instance in my life that has shaped me into who I am. Gymnastics was a big part of my life since I was 2 years old and I did it up until 7th grade, so the friends that I had surrounded myself with were primarily from gymnastics. Outside of gymnastics I didn’t really have a lot of friends. After quitting, I had to venture out of my bubble and make new friends in school and cultivate new relationships. The experience taught me not to get to comfortable in one position, because there is so much more to experience in life.”
