New RA’s Spring 2018

TAMS RA’s are a major part of making sure that everyone feels loved and welcomed in the community, so we wanted to introduce the new RAs. We hope you love learning about them as much as we did!

Jessica Dick

Age: I’m 19.
What is your major?
My major is biochemistry for forensics.
What are you looking forward to most about this year?
I am looking forward to getting to know my residents and what they’re passionate about. I’m also excited to watch them grow and become wonderful women.
What is a unique fact about you?
I laugh at anything and everything.
What is your favorite:
Color: Yellow
Animal: Hedgehog
Food: Mac and Cheese
Movie: Beauty and the Beast
Book: Mystery/Romance, Jodi Picoult books and Nicholas Sparks.

 

Bryan Aguilar

Age: I’m 19.
What is your major?
My  major is music education for voice.
What are you looking forward to most about this year?
I’m looking forward to connecting more with the residents.
What is a unique fact about you?
I have six siblings. I don’t know if that is a fact about me, but it is a fact

What is your favorite:
Color: Dark Green
Animal: A beaver or anything small and furry

Food: Enchiladas
Movie: Scary Halloween Movies
Book: I really liked the Maze Runner series, I read it like three times.

 


Abigail Kemter
What is your major?
I’m studying to be a biomedical engineer.
What are you looking forward to most about this year?
I am looking forward to getting to know my residents and the rest of the McConnell Hall staff and students.
What is a unique fact about you?
I am a huge coffee drinker and I feel like I can’t go without coffee.
What is your favorite:
Color: Blue
Animal: Horse
Food: Salad
Movie: Harry Potter
Book: Harry Potter

 

Nathaniel Winter

Age: I’m 20.
What is your major?
I am an English major, and I’m minoring in history.
What are you looking forward to most about this year?
Taking classes that are actually challenging—I’m taking Russian, Ancient Israel, and Shakespeare. Ancient Israel and Shakespeare are 4000 level classes, so they’re really difficult.
What is a unique fact about you?
I’m incredibly competitive. All of my favorite things to do are…doing things….I don’t think I’m going to finish that sentence.
What is your favorite:
Color: Green
Animal: Well it depends if you mean my favorite animal to look at or hang out with—my spirit animal is a cat
Food: Depends on the day. I like chili, good homemade chili. I’m the guy at the chili making contests tasting the chilis. Actually, that’s what I’ll do this semester-I’m going to organize a chili cook-off at McConnell, and it’s gonna be dope.
Movie: Nacho Libre
Book: Childhood’s End was one of the most emotionally compelling books I’ve ever read.
