Pragat Jay Muthu – Humans of TAMS

1. What do you miss the most about your old school (if anything)?

Some of the people. And I guess, how kinda— a lot more— culture. However, TAMS culture is better than my old school. And I guess, the number of people. I miss being in that chaotic environment.

2. What are your favorite aspects of TAMS?

Other than being able to learn whatever I want, other than taking a economics healthcare class, honestly, being surrounding by people who are just like you and have the same quirks and interested that you do. I like the close friendships that I have made in the past few years. At my old school, there were too many people, and because I get to live with people, I have better friendships.

3. Cat or Dog?

Chill dog that plays whenever you want to play but can live on its own. A dog that can chill alone but plays whenever you want to play with it.

4. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Honestly, in my residency. I want to be a general surgeon on the business side. The residency and fellowship will be so long, so that is where I see myself.

I also see myself as an MBA.

5. Ready for Ivy Day?

Since I only applied for 1 ivy, it really doesn’t matter cause upenn was my reach school anyway and it’d make me happy if I got in, but I am ready if I don’t.

6. Do you go by Pragat or Jay?

My closer friends or people who have known me longer call me Pragat, but most people call me Jay.
