What is your greatest struggle right now?
“I feel like my struggle is like every other high school student: time management. We have millions of thing happening in our life right now which is hard to balance. It is always important to remember what is important to you and that should always come first. Sometimes my idea of what is important is a little skewed but that can always be fixed. As long as you’re happy, it’s all good. My priority is grades of course my friend! Well, my physical and mental well being are also something to keep in mind.”
How was transitioning from your old school to TAMS?
“So I come from a small-ish town, Wichita Falls, in comparison to the metroplex area. It’s very ‘closed’ off in way, not as well-developed as Plano and such. Coming here, it was a bit rough. I thought I was ‘Big and Bad’ at my old school and then I come here and thought ‘oh, I wasn’t as smart as I thought I was…’. But it was also humbling in a way. The people really help me get acclimated to it. I came to realize that I am a lot more capable of things than I thought.”
