Q: How long have you been attending UNT?
A: Since the fall of 2008.

Q: What is your major and why?
A: My major is communication studies. I’m interested in broadcasting, but I’m not good at technology–which is why I’m not majoring in Radio, Television and Film.

Q: Why did you decide to become a Resident Assistant at TAMS?
A: I had a friend that used to work here. I came to the dorm with her and I enjoyed all of her interactions with the TAMS students. I thought it would be a great place to work and a great environment to be in.

Q: What do you think you have personally gained by being an RA at TAMS?
A: I’ve gained great experiences, memories and relationships with students and staff. It’s a great feeling to know I’ve motivated students here and have been a positive influence.

Q: What did you want to be when you were a kid and how has that changed today?
A: I wanted to be a police woman or a firefighter. I realized I don’t like bullets or guns and a fire suit is really hot. So now, I want to host my own television show.

Q: What was your favorite music to listen to while you were growing up?
A: I had all the love in the world for the Spice Girls, N’Sync, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

Q: What has been a defining moment in your life?
A: That’s such a hard question! I would say finding my faith and understanding my belief in Christ has been my most defining moment.

Q: If I were to look in your fridge right now, what would I find?
A: Greek yogurt, Apple Juice, Baby Bell Cheese, Soy Milk, Coffee Creamer, Lean Cuisine

Q: If you had to pick one other TAMS staff member to be for a day, who would you choose and why?
A: That’s hard. I would choose Elliot or Candice. I’d choose Elliot because he has super random days that have to be amazing. I’d choose Candice because she is a hall director and I’ve always been interested in what it would be like to be in charge of resident life.

Q: What is one of the most important lessons you have learned throughout your life?
A: I’ve learned to get used to things that I don’t want to do. There’s always going to be times we don’t want to do something but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t need to be done.

Q: Who is someone that has inspired you?
A: I can never really choose one person. My high school counselor was a big role model and taught me about being a woman and taking pride in what I do.

Q: What are your favorite television shows?
A: Jane by Design. I love Basketball Wives. I’m a reality TV show junkie. I also like Khloe and Lamar, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Criminal Minds.

Q: What has been your most memorable moment at TAMS?
A: Right before orientation, some of my residents got to move in early. We decided to “decorate” a room for one of my resident’s roommate. Basically, we pranked her roommate and taped her bed frame to the wall.

Q: Do you have a celebrity crush?
A: Ryan Gosling and Chris Brown. Also, the basketball player Blake Griffin – he’s gorgeous.

Q: Where is your favorite place to eat around Denton?
A: Hmmm….that’s so hard. I really love food. I guess Fuzzy Taco’s would have to be one of my favorites.

Q: Is there anything you don’t like about working at TAMS?
A: I don’t like the fact that we all have to graduate and leave. TAMS is such a temporary job.
